IU Health Physicians has multiple employment opportunities for Certified Nurse Midwives to join their OB/GYN practice located IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. 

Job Description:

  • Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities
  • Days, Nights, Rotating shifts
  • 100% inpatient 
  • No call 
  • Accepting experienced providers only (must have 5 years clinical experience in the hospital setting caring for the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patient
  • Will practice at Methodist Labor & Delivery

Key Responsibilities:

  • ​Triage of Obstetric patients, labor assessment and management, vaginal deliveries, repair of minor lacerations & episiotomies, immediate newborn assessment and stabilization, postpartum rounds & discharge of patient
  • Procedures included vaginal microscopy, wet mount & fern testing; vaginal delivery; placement of IUPC
