Overview

University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center Cancer Institute, affiliated wit University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center, is seeking an experienced Breast Oncologist to serves as  Medical Director in  Towson, Maryland.

  • Serve as the Medical Director of the Cancer Institute and Chief of Medical Oncology at The University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center
  • Large, well-established outpatient practice, provides care for over 10% of all breast cancer cases in the state of Maryland.
  • Dedicated team of 2 breast surgeons and 3 medical oncologists, 1 specializing in breast cancer
  • The position includes a faculty appointment at the University of Maryland School of Medicine
  • 1:4 call schedule
  • Opportunities for research within the Cancer Center are available and encouraged

The Cancer Institute is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.  The Breast Center oversaw 505 newly diagnosed breast cancer cases in 2017 and 361 in 2016.
