Board Certified Neurologist needed to provide services to a government-owned facility. This position is considered a Contract Health Care Professional (HCP) and will be required to meet all the necessary requirements of the U.S. Government. The standards of performance shall reflect a degree of care, skill, and learning expected of a reasonably prudent Neurologist.

The duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Outpatient Services. (Approx. 5-6 scheduled patients a day. Currently they have equipment to perform electroencephalograms and Nerve Conduction studies.)
  • Providing Inpatient Services.
  • Capable of performing lumbar punctures.
  • Capable of performing and interpreting nerve conduction studies and electromyography.
  • Capable of performing evoked potentials and electroencephalograms.
  • Capable of providing chemodenervation (such as Botox) for common neurological conditions.
The ideal candidate must have the following:
  • Successful completion of ACGME approved Neurology Medical Residency.
  • Current board certification in Adult Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry.
  • Have at least 24 months of experience within the last 36 months.

Practice Description

Neurologists will work up to 8 hours a day, Monday-Friday (excluding Federal Holidays and other Pre-Appointed Days) between the hours of 7:30am and 4:30pm.
