Overview

In Nacogdoches, TX: Texas Association of Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (either must have OB experience) to provide care to patients of all ages for routine, urgent and acute needs in a community healthcare setting, with a focus on general family practice that includes general medicine, pediatrics, adult, gynecological and prenatal care. Must be able to treat patients from a diversity of social and ethnic backgrounds and to work creatively as a member of a health oriented team composed of health professions from a variety of disciplines for the healing and betterment of the center's patients.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be a graduate of an approved accredited health professional school offering Advance or Specialty (Pediatric, Family, Maternal, etc.) Nurse Practice Degree or an accredited PA program. Must possess current and unrestricted license granted by the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners to practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or by the Texas State Medical Board to practice as a Physician Assistant. Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registrations, for the purpose of writing prescriptions, is also required. Must be able to perform gynecological exams and provide prenatal care. Current life support certification required. New graduates welcome.
