Overview

Indiana University Health has a career opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join their Chronic Pain and Addiction Recovery Center at IU Health West Hospital in Avon, IN.

Career Opportunity Details:

  • Full Time
  • Days (Monday-Friday)
  • No Call
  • 90% Outpatient / 10% Inpatient
  • Accepting experienced providers only
    • Prefer 2 years' experience with addictions or Behavioral Health.
    • Will consider FNP who has experience as an NP in Behavioral Health and/or addictions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Will work as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team providing Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services to adults with Substance Use Disorders
  • Conducts clinical assessments for and provides medical management of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and/or outpatient detoxification
  • Round on patients, assess, treat, handle nurse phone calls, and discharge coordination
  • Administering medication with the RN, reporting to the medical director
  • Manage the RN and team
  • Will be working with RNs and Patient Care Assistants, with NP facilitating and deciding the care plan
