AdventHealth Medical Group Spine Health at Altamonte Springs is looking for a dynamic and team-oriented Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician to join our established destination program.  This position is for a PM&R trained physician to help build and grow the practice in new markets around the Orlando area.  This opportunity is focused on growing our satellite offices, all within a 15-30 minute drive from our main office located in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The new physician will have the ability to shape his/her practice based on subspecialty interests. 

With the leadership of Dr. Chetan Patel, Medical Director, this physician will have the opportunity to provide the best care and treatment options for spine care patients.  We have full multidisciplinary services at Spine Health at Altamonte Springs that include rehab and sports medicine, wellness, psychology, pain medicine, procedures, and outcomes-based research.  The position would be based predominantly in an outpatient setting for patient consultations and EMG procedures. 

Physicians with an academic interest would find this position appealing as Dr. Patel is actively engaged in multiple FDA and European clinical trials and continues to serve as a faculty member for multiple spine societies.  He is a Robotics and Navigation Section Chairman for the North American Spine Society.  At AdventHealth Medical Group Spine Health at Altamonte Springs, he has helped establish a comprehensive research database on operative and non-operative treatment of spine patients with the goal of reporting outcomes based on evidence based spinal treatment and refining clinical algorithms.   The new physician would have the opportunity to teach, participate in our research database and author multiple publications.
