Carilion Clinic is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Plastic Surgeon to join an established practice with 2 other surgeons and a master aesthetician at the Assistant or Associate level. An exciting facility expansion is in progress as we are creating a brand new, purpose-built space to better serve the community. You’ll step into a stable, growing practice where many of our team members have been with us 15+ years. Benefit from the ability to collaborate with 8 experienced surgery partners in the department of Plastic Surgery at Carilion Clinic. Fellowship training is not required.
What You’ll Experience
- A diverse plastic surgery practice including cosmetic, breast, reconstructive, and general plastic surgery procedures
- On-site procedure room in the practice with local anesthesia, allowing for efficient and flexible scheduling
- A built-in referral base from Carilion’s extensive regional network
- Opportunities to teach and mentor residents through the integrated plastic surgery residency at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine
- No ER call and very light shared practice call from home
- Access to OR’s at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, Carilion Giles Community Hospital and the New River Valley Ambulatory Surgical Center
You will serve a primary and secondary population of approximately 750,000, supported by numerous Carilion primary care practices across Southwest Virginia.
